The Dolphin 1Card is the official identification card of Jacksonville University. It is issued to all members of the University Community and is required for identification and access to essential campus services. It also offers a convenient account for making purchases on and off campus. All students, faculty, and staff at Jacksonville University are currently eligible to receive a Dolphin 1Card.
New freshmen will have their ID card pictures taken on 8/18 and will receive their card on 8/19. Existing residential students will receive a new card with their room key. Commuter students can pick up their new cards at Campus security.
Immediately report a lost or stolen card to the Dolphin 1 Card Service Center at 1-866-552-4240 or visit the Campus Security Office. You are responsible for all transactions that may occur before the card is officially reported. A $10 fee will be charged to replace your card.
Dolphin Dollars is a cashless, prepaid spending account on your Dolphin 1Card that is accepted on and off the Jacksonville University campus. You must add value to your account before using Dolphin Dollars to make purchases. You must have sufficient value available in your Dolphin Dollars account to pay for each transaction. Each time you use your Dolphin Dollars account, the amount of the transaction will be deducted from your account. You may not spend more value than you have. Unused balances in Dolphin Dollars roll over semester to semester and year to year.
Your 16-digit Dolphin Dollars number is located on the front of your Dolphin 1Card, just below your 7 digit ID number, and uniquely identifies your prepaid spending account.
Your 7 digit Student ID number is located on the front of your Dolphin 1Card, just below your name. It is not your social security number.
Both accounts are accessed by your Dolphin 1Card. All students are eligible to participate in a meal plan. Meal plans are only accepted as a form of payment at campus dining locations. Click here to learn more. Dolphin Dollars is a prepaid spending account that is accepted at all campus dining locations plus many other locations on and off campus. It is designed to eliminate the need to carry cash. You or your parents must add value to Dolphin Dollars before using them for purchases. Funds transferred by debit/credit card and are available instantly. Check deposits are available on the business day received. If a check is returned to us by your financial institution for insufficient funds, the deposit will be reversed from your Dolphin Dollars account and a Returned Payment/Check fee will be assessed. If the Returned Payment/Check fee creates a negative balance in your account, you will be contacted to make another payment to the account.
At retail locations, Dolphin Dollars works much like a debit or credit card. Just present your Dolphin 1Card for payment to the attendant at the register. Your card will be swiped in a terminal and the transaction authorized. You will need to sign a printed receipt of the approved transaction. At self-service locations, simply insert your card in the terminal.
Dolphin Dollars can be used at many campus locations and at off campus businesses. These can be identified by the “Welcomed” sticker featuring the Dolphin Dollars logo. Click here for a complete list of accepting locations.
Cardholder suggestions are welcome and encouraged. Recommendations can be sent via e-mail to our recruitment department. Please include the name of the location and why you would like to see them join the program.

Go to Dolphin Dollars Cardholder Account Center. Under the Login button, click [Forgot your username or password?] and follow the instructions.
You may receive a refund of your Dolphin Dollars Account balance when you graduate, withdraw or leave Jacksonville University. Proof of withdrawal or dismissal is required. Refund requests must be submitted to the University's card program service provider in writing to:

If the self-service machine does not work properly, you will not be charged for the transaction. If for any reason you are charged, please email us a refund request. Please include the location, date & time of the transaction(s) in question.
Campus Cash broadens the acceptance of Dolphin Dollars off campus. It enables you to use Dolphin Dollars to make purchases at businesses around JU, Town Center, and the greater Jacksonville area. So, in addition to being able to use Dolphin Dollars on and around the JU campus, you can use it to make purchases at any business that displays the Campus Cash Welcomed sticker in the Jacksonville area. Yes, when you access the account center from your cell phone or mobile device, you will automatically be redirected to our mobile friendly site. You will have the option of checking your balances, viewing recent transactions, adding value, or adding payment methods.
